Anime Festival Orlando was Florida's first hotel based anime convention- held August 19th-20th 2000 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel & Inn Gateway just a mile from Disney. It was a great success!

As the first year of the convention, it was a two day event with around 450 in attendance. We were happy to have guests Wendee Lee, Steve Bennett, Marshall Hash, and Sherrie Szufel.

We had several contests, including ones for Art, Music Video, and Cosplay. First place winners for Music Video and Cosplay are listed below.
