Anime Festival Orlando returned for a second year- held July 27th-29th 2001 at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs. The hotel was so wonderful- they wanted us back for a second year but we had to move on to a bigger hotel for AFO3.

AFO2 was bigger and better than AFO1, as a day 3 day event with around 1000 in attendance. We were happy to have back our guests Wendee Lee, Steve Bennett, Marshall Hash and Sherrie Szufel- and ad to the list with Chynna Clugston-Major, Doug Smith, and Yoshiki Tokushu.

New additions to our events list included the successful game shows such as Anime Jeopardy, and our DDR Rave Party. And of course, we had several contests, including ones for Art, Model, Music Video, and Cosplay. First place winners for Art and Model are listed below.
